A Home without a House
I can put at your disposal
Minus what I do not have.

All material things are yours
For these are those
What I do not have.

What I do not have often
Slips away from my hands
When I try possessing it for you.

What I have are me, myself and
my body, mind and soul.
All this is entirely yours.

I also have a few of my books,
My writings, mobile phones and a computer;
All these are also yours fully.

Rest of the things are those
Falling into my non-possessions
That I do not have.

Yes, my love is what I have
Always melting for you
Every moment throughout.

Yes, I also have repayments
of Lots of “Easy Monthly Instalments”
showing my “urge” for making you happy.

What I do not have
Is your happiness with me
For I could never really make you happy.

Even symbolic
material gifts of love
are those that I do not have.

What I do not have
Are also showering of diamonds,
Gold and platinum on you.

I want to do this
But these are again those
Things what I do not have.

My palpitating love for you
Without what I do not have
Is like an empty fruitless kernel.

You never demand anything
For you know
What I do not have.

Yet you make me cry
For what I have
Never done for you.

Your words
Always make me realise
What I do not have.

You have every right for making me

What can I do?
Minting money is
Not my cup of tea.

beyond my reach and capabilities.

I wonder if I will ever be
able to convert “what I do not have”
into “What I must have”.

Otherwise, how else
Can I have your Love
With Heart full up to the brim?

Two decades we have
Spent together like this,
Without what I do not have!

How can I have all this

Saving money does not augur well with me.
